Spiritual Formation Part 4

Can't we just study Bible doctrine and skip all of this practical stuff? In a word, no! The entirety of God's message is one of "relationship". Doctrine is the truth and purpose behind God's covenant with His Church. The appropriate (and natural) response to God loving, choosing and saving us, is not just an emotional one, but love and faithfulness can only be fully expressed with action attached to our new heart.
